Program Description

The Clinical Scholars Training Program offers intern applicants: (1) preference for admission to the Duke subspecialty fellowship program of the applicant's choice, contingent upon performance in the intern year, (2) Option for a shortened or accelerated residency training pathway (e.g. the Accelerated Research Pathway or the Integrated Research Pathway approved by the American Board of Pediatrics), and (3) A commitment of support for at least two years of research as a fellow, covered preferentially by a Department or Division NIH training grant.
