Program Description

The Massachusetts General Hospital "has the largest hospital-based research program in the United States. MGH’s rich history in basic and clinical research touches on nearly every facet of internal medicine."[1] The MGH Physician Scientist Pathway (PSP) offers residents pursuing a career in basic and translational research the opportunity to receive intense mentorship and access to top mentors to guide their development into a physician-scientist. PSP residents may choose to "short-track" into the ABIM Research Pathway, but this is not required.[1]
